What is Cold War Dogs?
Cold War Dogs is an (as yet unpublished) action/historical thriller set in Angola. Antonio, aka “Tanque,” is an amputee called back into the Angolan military that dismissed him, to help hunt down the South African mercenary who took away his leg and who is now threatening the government. Meanwhile, Ljiljana suspects that the mercenary she has tracked down is the man who killed her husband. While Antonio's story alternates between the past, where Angola's history of perpetual war unfolds, and the present where Antonio is struggling with the aftermath of a life of fighting while he's trying to find and stop the mercenary before time runs out, Ljiljana's finds herself among the mercenaries and slowly realizes that she may not make it out alive.
